The design competition

ZhongRong Group asked Colander to set up and manage a three stage competition to identify architectural teams to design the new Crystal Palace. The competition open on 13 December 2013 and closed on 20 January 2014. The architectural shortlist was announced on 25 February 2014.

38 expressions of interest were received for this competition.
